Skyboat at Marchmont House

Five oak trees were planted under an oak frame with Girl Hannah, a traditional wooden fishing coble from the North East, coast lowered onto the frame in 2020. Eventually the trees will take the weight of the boat, the frame can be removed and she will ‘float’ in the trees. Gabriel Langlands made the oak frame, Mark Zygadlo, boat repairs, Stuart Whitton, construction and Steve McCarthy, trees. Many others were also involved.
